Angie is wrong. A blog is like an open diary and can spring entirely from your life experience with no need to reference the greater world. While there is an over-abundance of trivial and important information on the web (it like having all the world's libraries in your house), much of the information can be ignored until you need it. I thin it is more important to know how to effectivly use the search tools to find what you want when you need it than to randomly sample the web.
