So, it's post hot tub and about 55 degrees in California. Your little girl is safe and warm in a full size bed with a down comforter, sleeping with her new best friend (you'll find out about her soon enough). Your husband has his hand wrapped around a cold beer and Jim is reflecting on the old Mormon days, where swearing is a sin and R rated movies will put you in hell. Surprising, coming from a man that invited me to join the Mormon Church at 14 and used to chastise us for saying the word "sucks". DJ is asking "are you writing a novel??", so I guess my time is up. We will miss your little entourage...comprising of a tired daddy and a delightful and articulate little lady...who is quick to remind me that I am merely an accompanist to her concerto. The only thing missing is a woman in her late 20's with a big purse and big smile (not read "big mouth") whom we all love very much. I guess we'll just have to brave the cold and have to come and see her as she doesn't seem to love us anymore.
Or maybe she loves us more than we think... as she has made the ultimate mommy sacrifice and let the most important thing in her life out of her site for what has probably been the most trying 5 days in her life.
