I got called for jury duty on Monday and normally i would be doing everything possible to get out of it, after the week I've had jury duty=vacation. Sign me up for hours of sitting around doing forced nothingness, nothing sounds awfully good.

Sorry you got booted. Next time, lie and tell them your hubby is a construction worker (sort of the truth) and your only encounters with the police are your frequent speeding tickets.
That being said, my record for staying on juries after I get randomly selected to be examined is very poor - empaneled 8+ times and booted 7+ times. Only served on one jury all the way so far. Something about my strong (rabid) dislike for drunk drivers and sex criminals and having a lawyer in the family, among other things, causes one of the lawyers to boot me (politely of course).
